Goniopora corals are among the most enigmatic Large Polyp Stony (LPS) corals. Their striking, vibrant colors and tentacles that resemble a bouquet of flowers earn them the common name "flower pot corals," making them highly sought after in the reef aquarium hobby. However, despite their allure, Goniopora have long posed a challenge for aquarists, with many species struggling to adapt from the wild to aquarium life. Fortunately, there is renewed optimism as some species of Goniopora are now showing better resilience and adaptability in captivity.
